The Company
Our client is a rapidly expanding Facilities Management organisation who provide a range of Hard and Soft services across the UK and have a number of prestigious contracts in both the government retail and commercial blue chip sector. They are recruiting for an Account Director to cover a major Contract with several buildings based in the M4 / Slough / West of London area.

The Role
The remit of the Account Director role includes:
* Provide leadership, management, and development of a major contract in the Commercial sector ensuring financial and operational commitments are met and exceeded.
* Ensure that opportunities for the strategic development of the contract are exploited, to deliver increased turnover and profitability, ensure additional services and projects are added, and contracts are re-won on re-tender.
* Ensure optimum staffing structure operate across contracts, balancing cost reduction with the delivery of service excellence. Ensure structures support peaks and troughs in workload, and disaster recovery.
* Development of contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WIP, debt, cost reduction and contract growth, and ensure that these are met and exceeded.
* Ensure that both the clients and the companies Health and Safety policy and process is effectively implemented across both the company and subcontractor activities, and that they are regularly reviewed.
* Line management responsibility for a team of Contract Managers and indirectly for sub- contractors plus financial responsibility for the delivery of Plan commitments for the contract.

The Candidate
The Account Director skills and experience required:-
* Managerial experience at Contract Manager level within a Facilties Management environment and experience managing both Hard and Soft services technical or and or Hard Services arena and ideally but not essential is a background in the retail sector with Retail Store or Shopping Centre Management experience.
* Demonstrate a career with continuous personal development
* Ability to manage a team of engineer with responsibility for fire and environmental control measures, building control requirements and the Health and Safety at work act.
* Practical experience must include recruitment and line management experience.
* Analytical, vision, excellent communicator, committed to customer service and possess a high level of personal integrity.
* Computer literate, organised, able to prioritise and deliver.

The Reward
In return, the Account Director will receive an excellent remuneration package including £70k-£80k basic salary plus 20% bonus, car allowance, 25 days annual leave, company pension scheme and additionally because of our clients successful expansion our client offers genuine and excellent career progression opportunities.
