As a leading promotional gift industry, our client has over 20 years of experience. They source their ideas from all over the world and have a vision to become the most inspiring company operating in their space. They are now looking to recruit a Sales Director to join their team.

In this role you’ll be tasked with spearheading sales and continuing to deliver new business growth across of the UK. And as such, you should be a high calibre sales professional looking for that rare opportunity to be a big fish in a small but growing business.

Fit is everything for this role. You’ll join a relaxed working environment where the team works extremely well together, and as such, you will need to be an inspirational leader with the ability to direct whilst retaining a personable approach.

As the Sales Director you will be responsible for managing the sales team, whilst playing a hands-on role and setting up meetings with large corporate clients. Though this is an office based role, you will be required to travel to client sites, covering the UK. There may also be the occasional need to travel abroad.

Your duties will include:

- Managing the sales team, and training and guiding them to deliver the company’s expansion targets

- Playing a proactive role in raising individual and team performance

- Developing and enhancing the company’s sales reporting tools

To be considered for this position you must have extensive sales experience, including new business, and a proven track record of managing a sales team. Any experience in the promotional gifts industry or in the pharmaceutical sector (as most of their clients are in this industry) would be beneficial.

A proven closer at senior/board level, as the Sales Director you should also be able to demonstrate exceptional presentation, communication and closing skills, coupled with the ability to exceed your targets.
