Senior Account Director – Digital – London
Our client, a leading digital media house, is looking to recruit a Senior Account Director to join their team. As Senior Account Director, you will work alongside the Head of Media to execute the sales strategy to drive revenue across all publishers and product areas. You will also be responsible for working with the sales team to ensure that each individual achieves their full potential.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Account Director include:
- Acting as the senior sales person within the team, selling to a portfolio of agencies and clients across display inventory, video, mobile, micropayment, website production etc
- Helping to manage the performance of all staff, motivating the team to ensure that performance is at optimum levels
- Maintaining a reporting process that keeps the business informed about all activity and revenues
- Territory and client management
Qualities we’re looking for in the Senior Account Director:
- Previous significant experience within online advertising sales
- A successful track record of exceeding sales targets
- Excellent working relationships with senior executives within the advertising agency arena
- Previous sales management experience – can demonstrate success in motivating sales people to surpass sales goals
- A passion for selling and the digital industry in general
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Experienced in pitching complex and innovative ideas (internally and externally)
- Experienced in using Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Expert knowledge of sales cycles, strategies and methods
