Client Engagement Director / SAP Market – London
My Client is exclusively focused on the global SAP market and delivers SAP experts when and where their customers need them. Their SAP resources are critical to the success of our customers business. Supplying the very best SAP consultants requires serious recruitment experience and specialist industry knowledge.
To take their business to a new level they are looking to recruit a Client Engagement Director who may or not have recruitment experience but does have a proven track record of either software or consultancy sales into the SAP market. With both new business and account development skills.
As the Client Engagement Director you will provide support and leadership to a Client Engagement team of 8 people and focus on maximising revenue streams from a portfolio of key global accounts. You will be tasked with developing and implementing tailored strategic account plans to increase presence in these accounts, and will also play a key role in driving their new brands/products to market.
Roles and responsibilitiesWorking closely with each member of the Client Engagement team, you will assess our current position with each key account and devise strategic account plans to further penetrate each account and maximise revenue, margin and customer retention. This will include fully mapping out global client organisations, defining the message that needs to convey to each buyer within the account, and proactively pitching each buyer to ensure that we are supplying all areas of the business rather than just specific pockets. You will conduct monthly meetings with the Client Engagement team to review account progress and define clear actionable objectives and milestones for each month.You will provide hands-on as well as strategic support, including accompanying Consultants on client visits and developing commercial relationships with potential buyers in existing key accounts. You will provide leadership, direction and support to the entire Client Engagement team, including Sales Consultants, Delivery Consultants and the administrative support function, and will be expected to adapt your management style accordingly. You will be required to document and save your account plans and all activity on the company CRM system (Bond ADAPT). The overall goal for the Client Engagement Director is to elevate my client from being a preferred supplier to being the sole supplier in each key account. You will also work closely with the Business Development Director and Consultancy Services Director to identify and approach suitable target clients for my clients consultancy business.
Candidate profileThe successful candidate will have a well rounded breadth of experience, encompassing solution sales, business development and account management, and a proven track record of growing revenue streams in global client bases. You will clearly demonstrate the ability to develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for advancing your position within an account, and the ability to articulate this plan and its rationale to staff at various levels of the business. You will demonstrate Board-level credibility and the leadership skills required to manage a growing team from both a strategic and hands-on perspective. A solid understanding of SAP and its various modules is essential for this role. Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the EU.
